Age specific birthday cards. Are these a good thing or not?
Well I think that depends on the person who will be receiving the card and of course the age.The age card can either be a happy event or a sad one.
For instance the ages of sixteen and twenty one might want to be celebrated with joy. Whereas the age of 40 might not be so highly thought of.
Then there are the ages that start to earn respect like 60 and upwards. These ages I find are for celebrating the years that have gone past and the years still to come.
There is of course the biggest milestone of them all the 100th this age deserves special celebration as it celebrates 100 years of being on this earth, now that truely is a remarkable achievement.
Then we have the really cute ages like a first birthday when the reciever of the card has no idea but we make them extra special so the the parents can enjoy the card.
The 18th birthday is celebrated in some countries more than the 16th especially in the UK.
Of course if you are ever stuck about getting the right card for the right age then there is always the general birthday card or indeed the humorous birthday card that will either make them laugh or cringe.
